Free Shipping On Orders Over R450

1. SCOPE OF DELIVERY

1.1 This policy applies to all products purchased through the SMD Rewards website. We deliver within the Republic of South Africa only and do not offer international shipping.


2. DELIVERY COSTS

2.1 Orders with a total value below R450 carry a flat delivery fee of R80. Orders of R450 or more qualify for free delivery. The final delivery cost is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and any applicable promotions.

2.2 Free delivery is based on the net value of products after discounts and excludes any optional services or additional fees. If delivery was free and you later return items, the original delivery fee (where applicable) and the return fee will be deducted from your refund.


3. DELIVERY TIMES

3.1 We strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Estimated delivery times are three to five working days for major metropolitan areas and five to seven working days for outlying or remote areas. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

3.2 Orders are dispatched only once payment has been successfully confirmed. We accept payment by credit or debit card only. Payments by EFT or cash are not accepted.


4. DELIVERY PROCESS

4.1 When your order is ready to leave our warehouse, we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date and approximate time. Deliveries take place during normal business hours from Monday to Friday.

4.2 Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and accurate, and that someone is available to sign for and inspect the items upon arrival. If no one is present at the agreed time, additional delivery charges may be incurred for re-delivery.

4.3 We deliver only to locations with reasonable access. It is your responsibility to confirm that the products can fit through doors, stairways, and corridors. We do not hoist items through windows or onto balconies. Please remove fragile objects and any old furniture from the delivery area in advance.

4.4 Risk passes to you once delivery has been completed. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery. Hidden defects must be reported to us within forty-eight hours of delivery. We are not responsible for damage that is not recorded or reported within these timeframes.


5. AREAS NOT SERVICED

5.1 If our courier partner does not service your area, we will contact you to arrange delivery to the nearest accessible town or, if this is not suitable, to process a refund.

5.2 A full physical street address is required. We do not deliver to farms or to locations where the final stretch of road is unpaved or inaccessible.


6. FREE DELIVERY PROMOTIONS

6.1 Free delivery promotional thresholds are calculated on the order total after discounts have been applied. Promotions exclude optional services. If your address falls outside our standard delivery zones or is difficult to access, we will inform you if an additional delivery fee is required.

6.2 Orders qualifying for a free delivery promotion will be dispatched once payment has been confirmed. We do not reserve stock for longer than seven working days.


7. DELIVERY EXCLUSIONS

7.1 Some products may be supplied unassembled. Assembly instructions will be included. We do not provide assembly services and cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs during self-assembly.

7.2 Customer collections are not permitted. All orders will be delivered to the address specified at checkout.
